There are no translations available.  La priorité initiale d’Ibi Village a été de valoriser la production de manioc. Ainsi, plusieurs espèces différentes sont plantées pour valider la variété la plus performante sur les sols du plateau. Certains tubercules mesurent plus de 80 cm de longueur et pèsent plus de 10 kg. Une fois récoltés, les tubercules sont épluchés, coupés, trempés dans l’eau et séchés. Ils sont alord ensachés et transportés pour être vendus sur les marchés de Kinshasa et des alentours. La terre ou le bois de feu sont travaillés selon un process industriel. Les quantités produites de briques séchées et de bois de feu augmentent régulièrement pour répondre aux besoins de l'habitat et du quotidien de la population. |
